FIRST ANNUAL "Building Your Author Business" panel and interactive workshop.  Being a published author in the new millennium is complicated. You can no longer just concentrate on writing. Instead you must own and operate a small business that produces stories for sale. Not only do you have to write the best book you can, but you have to thoroughly edit the content as well. No agent, editor, or publisher wants to see a messy manuscript. You have to decide whether to pitch the story or publish it…See More

Tell us about yourself
I started my writing career with science fiction and fantasy short fiction (non-romance), but after discovering I really quite liked writing stuff with romance elements (just never HEAs), I decided to give writing actual romance a try. And I found I really quite enjoyed it. My interests outside of SF/F are history, specifically Mesoamerican cultures. My romance reading thus far has focused on historical romance, and I particularly like Jeannie Lin's 5th Century Tang Dynasty work.
