RITA® Award Winning novelist, Robin D. Owens has been writing longer than she cares to recall. Her fantasy/futuristic romances found a home at Berkley with the issuance of HeartMate in December 2001. She credits the telepathic cat with attitude in selling that book. Since then she has written nine books in the series (latest: Heart Journey, August 2010). Her first Luna series of five books included shape-shifting fairies and average American women Summoned into another world to fight monstrous evil. She is profoundly thankful to be recipient of the Romance Writers of America RITA Award, the Denver Area Science Fiction Association Lungfish Award for Writer of the Year, and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers’ Writer of the Year award, the Colorado Romance Writers' Writer of the Year Award, and the Daphne Du Maurier Best Paranormal and Best of the Best Award.
