Tangled and Dark - Getting Down and Dirty with Characterization
If you’re writing fiction, you are using characters. No matter how creative your plot line, characters are what make it happen. Without strong characters your plot will die a slow and painful death. Strong characters are well rounded not cardboard cutouts. This interactive workshop will provide a number of unique options for “looking under that rock,” or unearthing the reasons for your character’s fears, phobias, and passions. No generic fill in the blank worksheets here. We’re talking in-depth, mind-probing character analysis. So bring a character or two along with you as guests to this workshop. Together we’ll dig down in the mud and figure out why that character keeps telling you to turn left when you want to go right.
