A Deep Editing Guide to Making Your Openings Pop

This power-packed workshop teaches writers how to deep edit to empower openings. Deep editing techniques that will be covered include power words, backloading, linear load, style and structure, objective constructs, scene-themed words, and cadence-driven rhetorical devices. We will also address what the reader needs in the first few paragraphs and the two promises writers give readers on the first page.

Margie Lawson —psychotherapist, editor, and international presenter – teaches writers how to use her psychologically-based editing systems and deep editing techniques to create page turners.
