Dear Writers,
Welcome to the website of the Colorado Romance Writers, a chapter of the Romance Writers of America. Here you will find many of the resources every writer needs.
Whether you are just beginning or are a published author, the benefits of being a CRW member are many and varied. We host monthly meetings, complete with lunch. In addition, a speaker will present a workshop on topics from craft to specialized subjects, all related to writing and the industry. We also provide you with access to our Yahoo author loop as well as PRO and PAN loops.
I’m very excited to tell you about our upcoming August mini conference. Our special guest, Laurie Schnebly Campbell, will be presenting a full day’s workshop of intertwining modules including: Finding Your Hero’s Fatal Flaw, Plotting via Motivation, From Plot to Finish, The Personality Ladder, and Letting "Mad Men" Write Your Synopsis.
In October, we have our Romance Lover’s Tea. This exciting event is a celebration of CRW, authors, and romance novels. Prizes and author talks are just a sneak peak of the fun that is planned!
CRW also offers the Award of Excellence, our contest for published authors. In addition, a new contest is being drafted this fall, set to launch in 2013. More details to come!
Our Online Workshop Series is gearing up to make a huge splash this year. With double the classes and some special, intensive mentoring courses as well, we’ve built this year’s program to offer you a smorgasbord of choices, all designed to help you in your career.
A great way to get involved is to volunteer with us. Volunteer positions will offer you the benefit of meeting and interacting with many members of our group, which is a great and fun way to increase your networking.
Writing can be a solitary business. Here you will find the encouragement and the people that will be there to support you. I’m looking forward to a wonderful 2013 and I hope you will join us!
Cheers and happy writing,
Hillary Seidl
CRW President 2013
Our 2013 AOE finalists will be announced at the Saturday, April 13th meeting! We're really excited to share this year's finalists, and may have a VERY pleasant surprise for a CRW member or two who entered the contest.
Hopefully everyone can be there. We've got a great program with Courtney Milan, and book reading from a new author. So it proves to be a great day!
Speaking for my fellow Coordinators Aimee, Tiffany, and Jen, I say we all hope to see you…

I want to welcome to Tina Gerow, one of our fabulous instructors for the March Online Workshop Series! Tina is teaching her workshop, "I'm Back From Writing Conference: What Do I Do Now?" in March. You're probably asking yourself, "What exactly does that mean?"
Well, Tina will be sharing what she's learned from her own conference experiences and will help you to make the most of your own, giving you tools to ensure a good return on your investment. Sounds…
